MECHANICAL SYSTEMS

One Queen and 20 Richmond may operate independently with two separate mechanical systems, although there are links between the two buildings. The buildings have separate HVAC, but the two chilled water circuits are linked through a heat exchanger which allows sharing of cooling capacity, and allows 20 Richmond to utilize free cooling from One Queen during winter.

Plumbing
Capped plumbing connections on floors 2 through 7 at the core walls consist of a 1" cold water line, 4" sanitary drain, and 2" vent. Capped plumbing connections on each high rise floor (8th to 27th) at the core walls consist of two 1" cold water lines, two 4" sanitary drains, and two 2" vents.

Capped connections at core for domestic cold water, sanitary drain and vent are available for tenant use.
