LIFE SAFETY

Monitoring
Building is equipped with two staged fire alarm system and voice communication, Card-access entry system and staffed security desk monitors building access and life safety systems.

Contracted Security
On site 24 hours per day, 365 days a year

Sprinklers
All floors are sprinklered throughout with a light hazard coverage in accordance with Measure A of the Supplement to the National Building Code for the life safety measures for high rise buildings. Sprinkler heads are chrome plates with chrome plated escutcheons and are of the semi-recessed type.

Fire Detection Services
Heat and smoke detection devices are provided to meet code requirements.

Smoke Evacuation
Fully automated smoke control system with firefighter override capabilities.

Fire Hose Cabinets
Fire hose cabinets are provided at each floor with capped provisions for addition of tenant fire hose cabinets if dictated by the partition layout.

Emergency Exits
Two clearly marked exits per floor

Emergency Voice Communication
EVAC speakers for communicating with the public in emergency situations are located throughout the complex to meet the requirements of the building code.

Firefighters' Elevator
All passenger elevators are equipped with automatic Phase I emergency recall and Phase II (in car) controls.
